1- Holy shit, that was a ride. And good on you for helping your brother when he needed it the most.

2- New life goal: work "interrobang" into every conversation I possibly can.

Also, "interrobang" makes me think of Jack Black and the sax-a-boom. And if you haven't experienced that performance on Jimmy Fallon, it will make your day.

I haven’t! I’ll have to change that asap.

I feel like we use it when we say, "wtf?!" Not a recommended phrase for every conversation, but definitely a great use of the interrobang (if you look it up, you'll see that early forms of it were made by typing a ? over a !--making me wish for a moment I had a manual typewriter!).

Oh Holly, this is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing the detail of this - absolutely fascinating, and great to know what’s involved in stem cell donation.

The rabbits have reminded me of a very bizarre conversation between me and my future husband on the day I met him. We were comparing notes on our medical conditions (a curious, unromantic - yet useful - topic for a first date), and he told me that the infusions he gets are ‘mostly mouse extract’!

Yes, your eyebrows are perfect!

And you’re AWESOME.

Mouse extract! I love it! I love that you spent your first day talking about such things--so much better than the standard surface level questions. Thanks for sharing that! My brother will get a kick out of the mouse extract.

I will! I’m going to stay with him tomorrow for three weeks. We’ll have a good laugh over it!

That line looks terrible!

I know nothing about this but find it interesting. Thank you for helping me become a little less ignorant about it!

Terrible and awful! 🤣 If you dare to zoom in, you’ll see tiny holes in it at different intervals. The placement of those holes is what allows the blood to flow both into and out of at the same time from different areas of the blood stream.

I can't call myself incredible...just willing. So often in life, that's all it takes!

Hmmm...not sure if it's a NaNoWriMo shirt (one of my best friends gave it to me before I left for the collection process), but I do eagerly anticipate NaNoWriMo each year until it arrives and I write nothing. :) I think she got this for me because I love this quote from Anne Lamott:

“You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.”
